I’m Brian, a photographer based in Southam and working across Warwickshire, Leamington Spa, Stratford, Banbury and beyond. Photography has been my passion since I was young, and in 2021 I transitioned from a career in education (where I worked my way up to headteacher) to focus full-time on photography.

School Photography — Preserving the Journey
School photography works best when it fits around the day rather than disrupts it. Because of my background as a headteacher, I’m comfortable working with pupils, staff and leadership teams and understand the time pressures schools face. Sessions can include individual portraits, class groups, team photos, prospectus imagery and promotional video. Ordering is all handled online so your office team doesn’t need to manage payments. I visit schools across Warwickshire, Coventry, Northamptonshire and the surrounding areas and can plan the timings with you to make sure the day runs efficiently.
Wedding Photography — Capturing Your Love Story
Your wedding day has its own rhythm, and my job is to capture it in a way that feels honest and natural. Most couples book full-day coverage which usually includes morning preparations through to the first dance. A typical day produces around 400 to 600 edited images, all delivered in a private online gallery you can share with family and friends. Travel across Warwickshire is included and I’m always happy to visit your venue beforehand if it helps with planning. Whether you prefer a relaxed documentary approach or a few guided portraits, I work in a way that suits you and keeps the day running smoothly.
Corporate & Event Photography — Showcasing Your Business
For businesses, the aim is to create images and video that actually support your marketing and tell people who you are. This can be headshots taken at your workplace, branded images for your website, or coverage of an event or conference. I work to brand guidelines and can follow a clear brief if you have one, or help shape the look and feel if you’re developing a new style. Turnaround is quick, with most galleries delivered within a few days, and I can supply images sized for websites, printed material and social media.
Events move quickly and your coverage needs to reflect that. I photograph corporate events, conferences, sports fixtures, community celebrations and private functions across Warwickshire and the Midlands. The aim is to capture the atmosphere, key people, important moments and small details that bring the event to life. If you need a short highlights video alongside the photos, I can add that too. Same-day or next-day images can be supplied if you want something ready for social media or press.
Real Estate Photography — Showcasing Your Property
Property photography needs to do more than show a room. It should give a clear sense of space, light and layout so buyers or renters understand exactly what they’re viewing. I photograph homes, commercial buildings and holiday lets across Warwickshire, Southam, Leamington Spa, Banbury and the surrounding areas. Every shoot includes a full set of wide interior and exterior images, detail shots, and any specific angles an agent or property owner requests. Video walk-throughs and drone footage can be added to give a stronger feel for the flow of the building. All images are edited and delivered quickly in a range of resolutions suitable for websites, portals and printed brochures.

Which areas do you cover?
I’m based in Southam in Warwickshire and work across Leamington Spa, Warwick, Banbury, Rugby and the wider Midlands. I’m happy to travel further if needed.
Do you offer both photography and video?
Yes. I shoot stills and video for schools, weddings, events and businesses. You can book either on their own or combine them.
How much does a session cost?
Prices vary depending on the type of booking. Wedding packages start from £275, corporate and event coverage starts from £150, and headshots start from £25. Full details are on each service page.
Are you DBS checked for school photography?
Yes. I’m DBS checked and have many years of experience working in education as a headteacher, which means I understand safeguarding and how to work safely in schools.
How many photos do clients usually receive?
It depends on the job, but weddings often include 400 to 600 edited images. Events and commercial shoots vary based on what you need.
Do you help with posing and direction?
Yes. Whether it’s headshots, portraits or weddings, I guide people so they feel comfortable and look natural on camera.
How long does it take to get my photos?
Turnaround is usually between 3 and 10 days depending on the project. Weddings may take a little longer during peak season, but I always send a preview selection quickly.
Do you have insurance?
Yes. I’m fully insured for both public liability and professional indemnity, which many venues and schools require.
Can you work to a specific brief for commercial projects?
Absolutely. I regularly shoot to brand guidelines, marketing briefs and campaign requirements for schools, companies and organisations.
