The surge in popularity of platforms like Airbnb, along with the growing prominence of guest houses and hotels, has expanded the demands and scope of real estate photography.
Unlike a straightforward real estate shoot that might involve capturing a few quick photos of each room for online listings, Airbnb hosts and guest houses aim to highlight the finer details and features that adorn their properties. Take, for example, the experience when my parents moved house – the estate agent swiftly snapped a couple of photos in each room using a standard DSLR and a flash on the hotshoe.
